Delaware Seashore State Park offers many many different amenities. There is a bathhouse and concession stand, umbrella, chair and raft rentals as well as lifeguards on duty Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Swimming, surfing and surf fishing are common as is picnicking at a pavilion or camping. Windsurfing and sailing are becoming more popular and there are nature trails and nature programs at the park.

If you like boats you’ll love the Indian River Marina area, which has head boats, charter boats, a two lane boat ramp, transient slips, fuel dock, dry stack storage, haul out and storage, bait sales, sewage pump out, waste oil recycling, marine parts and supplies, certified year-round marine and repair service vendors, fish cleaning and fresh seafood sales, a snack bar and 24-hour security. The marina also offers lodging in the brand new Indian River Marina cottages. While you’re there don’t forget to visit the Indian River Lifesaving Station as well and hear an interpretive tour. Built in 1876, it was used by the U.S. Lifesaving Service to help respond to shipwrecks along the coast.
