In central Delaware Killen’s Pond is another mill pond created in the late 1700’s. This park is similar in many ways to Trap Pond in that it has a small boat ramp and rentals of several pond-going vessels available. Hiking trails, ball fields and game courts satisfy the athlete, and picnicking and pavilion rentals with nearby playgrounds also make for an enjoyable day. Recreational programs are also held during the summer, with hayrides available in the fall. Camping and cabins are open here year round, but a popular area of the park is the water park.

The water park boasts a large adult pool, tot pool, and most importantly water slide area. If you get hungry there is a food concession and Swim Shop for other needs.
