Garlyn Zoo is located only a short drive from many of the Upper Peninsula's major attractions. The zoo sits on a 40 acre parcel of land surrounded by thousands of acres of state and federal forests and graced by towering red and white pine, birch and maple. Enjoy a leisure walk along cedar mulched trails and see live Cougar, Wolves, Black Bear, River Otter, Camel, Wallaby, Patagonian Cavy and many, many more animals up close and personal. Our animals enjoy seeing you as much as you'll enjoy seeing them. Grain can be purchased to feed the deer, goats, llama, and more. You can even feed the bear!

Hours of Operation:
Open 7 days a week from April 1st until September 30th; and the hours are 10am til 6pm. Beginning in October we are open 7 days a week, but our hours are 10am until 5pm. We are only open weekends in November from 10am until 5pm.
