Come to beautiful Port Angeles, Washington for a great day of fishing in the pristine waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We customize our fishing trips for groups of 1-4 people. We fish for Halibut, Bottomfish, and Crab in several locations throughout the Strait of Juan De Fuca.

Nestled between the majestic Olympic Mountains and the breathtaking Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Angeles is well known as an outdoor enthusiast’s playground. Fishermen flock here every spring and summer ready to battle the large halibut and bottomfish that populate the stretch of water separating the North Olympic Peninsula and Vancouver Island. The Strait, protected from the harshness of the open ocean, also tends to breed larger fish than those that are normally caught off of Neah Bay or LaPush in the open water.

The Strait provides a variety of fishing options, ranging from deep-water halibut to coastal bottomfish. It's also a haven for a variety of sea mammals such as Orca Whales, Gray Whales, porpoises, sea lions, otters, Bald Eagles and many other types of seabirds--many of which you will see on a typical fishing venture. Having fished every nook and cranny of the Strait, we know where to find the fish, and how to have the most fun doing it. Whether you want to clash with the halibut in 400 feet of water or simply enjoy the scenery while reeling in a sea bass, the Strait has something to offer for everyone.

About Port Angeles
Port Angeles, Washington is a coastal city located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, which is the body of water between Canada and the U.S. that connects the Pacific Ocean to Puget Sound in the Seattle area. It is about a three hours drive west of Seattle on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. Victoria, British Columbia is directly across the Strait of Juan de Fuca and can be reached by ferry in just over an hour. Port Angeles is the gateway to the Olympic National Park, which expands beyond the city to the east, south and west and includes an amazing variety of breathtaking scenic locations, including Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains, picturesque Lake Crescent, towering old growth trees in the Hoh Rain Forest, and huge sea stacks along the pristine Pacific Ocean beaches such as Kalaloch.

There is plenty to see and do in this beautiful part of the country. To truly experience the great Northwest you'll want to include a day's fishing, and there is no better place to catch a big fish than right here in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
