The Velma V. Morrison Center - Idaho's most prestigious performance complex, nestled on the bank of the Boise River and a part of Boise State University. The Morrison Center is the host of Broadway Across America in Boise. Past performances have included, The Producers, CATS, Mamma Mia, Rent and Miss Sagion. We are also the home performance hall for Ballet Idaho, Opera Idaho and the Boise Philharmonic. In 2004 the Morrison Center developed two new series, The Morrison Center Family Series and The Encore School Series. Because no seat is further than 131 feet from stage, audiences will have an unusual intimacy with the performers.

The Morrison Center is located on the Boise State University Campus near the intersection of Capitol Boulevard and University Drive.

From I-84: take the Vista Avenue exit, north towards the city. Vista merges into Capitol Boulevard below the Train Depot. The first traffic light on Capitol Boulevard is University Drive. Turn right onto University Drive, take the next left, immediately between the University Inn and BSU parking garage, onto Earle St.

From downtown Boise: take 9th Street south across the Boise River. Turn left at the first traffic light onto University Drive. Take the next left, immediately between the University Inn and BSU parking garage , onto Earle St.
