MT EMILY SHAY STEAM EXCURSIONS begin again in May. Climb aboard relax and experience the sights, sounds and nostalga of steam railroading as it used to be. Adventures young and old will cherish the memories of the echoing whistle and hissing steam on a trip through time you'll always remember.

The City of Prineville Railway (COPR) is a customer oriented short line railroad operating in Central Oregon between Prineville and Prineville Junction. Formed in 1918, the COPR directly serves industries in Crook County, Oregon. The line is the oldest continuously operated municipal shortline in the U.S.

The COPR connects with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Union Pacific Railroads at Prineville Junction three miles north of Redmond, Oregon.
