Located less than thirty miles from the Las Vegas Strip in Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the Black Canyon is truly one of those unique places to visit. This canyon, formed by the Colorado River, lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the rivers edge.

This is a unique smooth water float trip aboard a motor-assisted raft. While the visitor leisurely enjoys the trip, our experienced guides will share information about the history, desert wildlife and beauty of the Black Canyon on the Colorado River.

Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures will provide round trip transportation from select Las Vegas hotels, if needed, or you can choose to meet us at our offices located in the Hacienda Hotel & Casino on Highway 93 just outside of historic Boulder City. You will then be transported on our tour buses to the launch area at the base of the Hoover Dam. This is an extremely rare view of the Hoover Dam that very few people have the opportunity to see.

The closest airport to Black Canyon/Willow Beach River Adventures is McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. Take 215 east, then take 93 to Boulder City. Continue on 93 after it ends and turn left at the second stop light. Turn left into the Hacienda Hotel & Casino parking lot. The office is located inside the Hotel.
