Let your own MP3 player take you on an AudioSteps walking tour of historic Georgetown.  Step back into the 19th century as you visit the cobbled streets and gorgeous brick buildings of this gorgeous neighborhood.  See stunning architecture, Georgetown University, busy Wisconsin and M Streets, and lots of historic sites , while hearing of the area's colorful history.  Run up and down the Exorcist Steps if you dare!!  Go at your own pace -- stop to shop or eat whenever you want and see Georgetown on your own schedule.

The tour starts across the Potomac River at  the Rosslyn Metro stop, then walks over the river and all through Georgetown before ending right in the heart of things at Wisconsin and M Streets. 

Depending on how much you decide to do at one time, the walk covers up to 4.5 miles, taking up to 3 hours of walking time if you do it all at once.

Tour starts at Rosslyn Metro, Rosslyn, VA, which is across the Potomac River from Georgetown. But, since it's on your own MP3 player, you can start anywhere along the route. See map you get when you buy the guide.   The DC Metro does not directly serve Georgetown, but there are buses along to the route to get back to either Rosslyn or Dupont Circle Metro.
